What does it mean to be a VPWG member?

Being part of VPWG means that:

• Shared Mission: Your organization is working to address urgent threats facing pollinators in Vermont and the Northeast.

• Alignment with VPWG Goals: Your mission and work support pollinator health and habitat, in step with VPWG’s purpose.

• Experience & Expertise: You bring valuable knowledge in areas such as pollinator conservation, habitat restoration, research, farming practices, or community education.

• Engagement & Collaboration: You are committed to active participation in VPWG initiatives, projects, and outreach.

• Commitment to Collective Action: You recognize that protecting pollinators requires cross-sector collaboration and pledge to work together toward shared solutions.

How do I become a member?

Nominating New Members

Membership is open to anyone with a nomination from a current VPWG member. Current VPWG members are encouraged to nominate individuals who bring relevant expertise, experience, or perspectives. To nominate someone, please complete this nomination form.

Applying for Membership

Individuals must be nominated by an existing VPWG member before applying. Once nominated, prospective members can complete the short membership application form.

Review Process

The VPWG Steering Committee reviews nominations and applications on a quarterly basis. Applicants will be notified following review regarding next steps and membership status.
